Alex Van performed in PNO productions Wall Street Wedding, Glen Garry Glen Ross, and now is extremely honored to help present Sam Shepard’s Fool For Love. Timely after Sam’s passing last July. He received a BA in theater studies from Regis University in Denver Colorado. He also studied and performed at Schiller College in Strasburg, France. Appearing in productions of The Beggar’s Opera, Sotoba Komachi, The Zoo Story, Dr. Faustus, and Moliere’s Mischievous Machinations of Scapin. Recent TV include The Walking Dead, Stranger Things, Outcast and many more. The films Burden, The World Made Straight, Lawless, Dawn Anna. He portrayed the iconic killer Charlie Rotter in MTV’s “My Super Pycho Sweet 16” part 1 & 2.
Having been a member of SAG for 35 years Alex is now trying to focus time and energy on theater projects. Just finishing Essential theaters “Built To Float” Which marks his eight show with the company. He also performed around town at the Theatrical Outfit, Synchronicity, Actors Express, Seven Stages, GTA, Push Push theater and many others. He has also been selected as a lifetime member of The Actors Studio (NYC) where he will continue projects in the 2019 season.
