Pedro Ferreira has been engaged with Pinch ‘N’ Ouch Theatre since 2014. In this time, he played the character “Elliot” in the regional premiere of the Quiara Alegria Hudes play, “Water by the Spoonful”, the character “Warren” in scenes from the Kenneth Lonergan play, “This is Your Youth”, and several characters in the 2014 Atlanta One-Minute Play Festival. On film, Pedro performed in the short “No Such Thing” by Grant Mcgowen, and in “The Motherload” webseries by Nicole Kemper.
A Meisner technique fanatic, Pedro has studied Meisner Foundation, Meisner Acting for Stage, Meisner Acting for Film/TV and Meisner Directing at PNO.
Besides film and theater, Pedro is also interested in advocacy, journalism, literature and music. He graduated from Georgia State University in 2015 with a BA in Journalism and a BA in English, and won the award “Who’s Who Among U.S. Colleges and Universities.” The Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce of the Southeast has also recognized him for his service as a Public Relations volunteer.
A native of Brazil, Pedro has made Metro Atlanta his home since 2001. Every Sunday, he plays guitar with his church band in Marietta.
